Oil, Acrylic, Mixed Media,  Watercolor Paintings and Pen & Ink Renderings,  by Artist Bonnie E. Rodgers’  for Purchase

I have an exhaustive repertoire of distinctive art in landscapes, seascapes, floras and fauna, wildlife,  still life painted in original oil paintings, watercolors paintings, mixed media paintings, as well as acrylics, pastels, pen & ink sketches, photography and expressive collages.  Since I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with my BFA in 1998 and MFA 2005 I have produced many pieces of art by "Painting the Fabric of My Life.  Moving to Florida from Nebraska after 30 years allows me to be near wildlife that I had been chasing in Nebraska so many times a month I paint en Plein Air to capture sandhill and lesser cranes, egret, kingfisher, and blue heron plus much more.

My career has also led me into creating aesthetically pleasing murals for homes, offices, hospitals, daycares and restaurants. I love interacting with other enthusiastic artists through Oil Painters of America, American Watercolor Society, Landscape Painters of America and many other organizations. I am still amazed when my work earns an award.  The Artist Magazine, Nebraska Mother's Association, the National Mother's Association, Omaha Artist, Inc.,  Bellevue Artists Association, Charlotte County Chamber and Charlotte County Art Fair have awarded me ribbons from Best of Show to Honorable Mention.

"Art is the vehicle through which my inner experiences, insights, and intuition are manifested on stretched canvas or Ampersand board.  Ideas flicker past me like migrating birds, some must be fully explored and others escape into their own journey."  Teaching art workshops and classes encourages me to take risks and pass them on to my students so they can to find their own artistic voice.  I currently teach all media at North Ports Hobby Lobby and Lakeside Plantation so come and join me with whatever media you are working in.

Every sale of my art is documented with an Art Sale Contract, Certificate of Authenticity and payment through PayPal to protect you, the purchaser, and me, the artist.
