Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!

Come to the Farmers Market in Downtown Punta Gorda, Florida Saturdays 8:00 to 1:00 p.m. to meet me and see my new work.

Oil, acrylic & Watercolor Artist Bonnie E. Rodgers’ Paintings for Purchase

I have an exhaustive repertoire of distinctive art in landscapes, seascapes, floras, pets, wildlife, still life painted in original oil paintings, watercolors, mixed media, as well as acrylics, pastels, ink sketches, photography and expressive collages.  All images are then turned into greeting cards.  Since I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with my BFA in 1998 and MFA 2005 I have produced many pieces of art by painting subject matter that is close to my heart.  Moving to Florida from Nebraska allows me to be near wildlifethat I had been chasing in Nebraska year round.  So many times a month I paint en Plein Aire.

My career has also led me into creating aesthetically captivating murals for homes, offices, hospitals, and restaurants. I love interacting with other enthusiastic artists through Painters of America, American Watercolor Society, Landscape Painters of America and many others. I am still amazed when my work earns an award.  The Artist Magazine, Nebraska Mother's Association, the National Mother's Association, Omaha Artist, Inc.,  Bellevue Artists Association, North Port Art Center, and Charlotte County Art Fair have awarded me ribbons from Best of Show to Honorable Mention, to mention a few.

"Art is the vehicle through which my inner experiences, insights, and intuition are manifested on a physical level. It is the essence of these experiences that I translate and share with you. Ideas flicker past me like migrating birds, some must be fully explored and others escape into their own journey."  Teaching art workshops and classes encourages me to take risks and pass them on to my students so they can to find their own artistic voice.

Every sale of my art is documented with an Art Sale Contract, Certificate of Authenticity and payment through PayPal to protect you, the purchaser, and me, the artist. Leaving an email allows me the opportunity to contact you in a personal way and to offer new listings before the public has the opportunity to view and purchase them.  Browes the new galleries, and if you have questions about my artwork send an e-mail to  bonnie@bonnierodgersart, or call (941) 201-7007.
